Our client is a mid-sized, successful, family-owned CPG company. They are seeking a multifaceted Senior Accountant to join their finance team. As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our finance team, contributing your expertise to our financial strategy, decision-making, and the overall fiscal health of the organization. You'll be responsible for not only analyzing financial data but also translating those numbers into compelling stories that guide our strategic decisions. With your strong background in accounting and finance, you'll help steer the organization towards continued success through the art of financial storytelling.
This position is fully onsite in St Louis, MO.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop budgets and financial plansTransform financial data into compelling narratives that guide strategic decision-makingMonitor and manage the company's financial health, including cash flow and budgetaryplanningPrepare and present financial reports to leadership, using storytelling to advise on performanceand potential areas for improvementAssist in the evaluation of potential alliances, acquisitions, and mergers, using your storytelling

Education And
EXPERIENCE:Minimum of 7 years of progressive
experience in finance and accounting is essential
Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic financial planningStrong track record of effectively communicating complex financial data and insights to non-finance stakeholders
Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to decision-makingprocessesPrior involvement in financial reporting and analysis for a dynamic organizationFamiliarity with financial software and tools for data analysisMaster’s in business administration or a related field is preferred but not required.CPA, preferred
