Amazon Advertising is one of the fastest growing businesses within Amazon. We are looking for a Principal Product Manager - Technical to invent new advertising recommendation
experiences to help brands selling on Amazon realize their full potential. Working backwards from our brands, you will need to define a vision and roadmap that provides advertisers with the insight and recommendations they need to optimize and orchestrate our full suite of ad products. You'll collaborate with a team of software and data engineers to leverage the latest big data technologies to deliver on this vision. Success will require balancing big, industry changing goals with a bias for action and consistent delivery of advertiser value. You will also need to adeptly use data and compelling advertiser feedback to communicate and build support for your vision with partner teams and leadership. responsibilitiesbr/>* Working backwards from our advertisers, define an industry leading vision and roadmap. br/>* Evangelize the vision with partner teams and leadership. br/>* Be the expert on advertiser optimization needs.br/>* Collaborate closely with data scientists and engineers to ideate, design, develop and deliver great advertiser
experiences.br/>* Inspire the team to continually invent and simplify solutions to complex problems.br/>* Vigorously and consistently refine product definitions to deliver faster, without sacrificing the advertiser
experience.br/>* Coordinate with partner teams to ensure we deliver seamless
experiences across multiple advertiser touch points.br/>* Own the user
experience; write working backwards documents; define user stories and product
requirements; br/>* Define success metrics for features, track performance, and deliver results.br/>br/>
About the teambr/>The Recommendation Optimization
Experience (ROX) team helps advertisers achieve their business goals by delivering insights and recommendations via Console and APIs that are personalized to the advertiser, easy to understand, contextually relevant, simple to adopt, and fully optimized to grow the advertiser’s business.br/>br/>We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following

Basic
Qualifications
5+ years of technical product management with internet business
experience 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager
experience 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related)
experience
Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)

compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market
location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge,
skills, and
experience. Amazon is a total
