**Job Description:**

As an Estimator at ATS Welding, you will play a vital role in our project planning and execution process. You will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, preparing bids, and collaborating with our team to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule. Your expertise in heavy civil construction, oil and gas pipeline, industrial construction, and/or welding fabrication will be essential in assessing project

requirements and providing competitive bids that meet client expectations.

Responsibilities:**

• Analyze project specifications and

requirements to develop accurate cost estimates.- Review blueprints, drawings, and other project documents to understand scope and materials required.- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to assess project needs and develop comprehensive bid proposals.- Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to determine material and labor costs.- Prepare and submit bids in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with project specifications and client

requirements.- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and negotiations as needed.- Maintain accurate records of project estimates, bids, and related documentation.

Requirements:**

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.- Minimum of 3 years of

experience in estimating heavy civil construction, industrial construction, and/or welding fabrication projects.- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes.- Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving

skills.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
