Job Description

Registered Nurse-per Diem- Medical/surgical Post Op- Telemetry

The Registered Nurse assures competent, compassionate and individualized nursing care for a group of patients within a unit or other primary area of practice. Ensures that care is safe, efficient, effective, timely, and meets the cultural, spiritual, and ethnic needs of patients and their families consistent with NEBH's mission and core values. Collaborates with other members of the patient care team to plan and coordinate patient care goals and achieve optimal patient outcomes. Recognizes patient care needs and works to establish a comprehensive plan of care. Responsible for maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and New England Baptist Hospital standards, policies and procedures.

Skills

BSN required. Heart Saver, BLS certification.

Minimum 2 years medical/surgical

experience. Orthopedic

experience a plus. Telemetry

experience a plus.

Per Diem requirement is 2 shifts per month with 2 major holidays a year (1 spring/summer and 1 fall/winter)
