The Accountants perform general ledger reconciliations, prepare journal entries and accruals, maintain accounting processes, perform analysis to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial information, and provide other accounting support as needed.

Note: This position is a hybrid role & requires working onsite 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

Prepares general ledger reconciliations and ensures outstanding items are cleared timelyPrepares journal entries (including basic accruals and entries from other departments)Makes deposits and provides checks to bank operationsPrepares ACH/wires for paymentPerforms administrative functions related to audit such scanning, filing, and gathering journal entries, reconciliations, and other recordsAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, include but not limited to compliance and operational risk. Demonstrate consideration for Cenlar’s reputation as well as our clients, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards

Accounts Receivable (Client Billing)

Tracks and accounts for miscellaneous Client Billable items to ensure timely and accurate Client BillingsPrepares, collects, and scans billing support for client billingReviews monthly client invoices for completeness and accuracyPrepares client amendments and price changes

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred (Accounting or Finance a plus)1 to 3 years of general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, or other related

experience requiredAdvanced data entry

skillsWell organized and strong communication

skillsHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis in Excel particularly pivot-tables and v-lookups
