What you’ll be doing:
The Senior Product Technology Analyst develops plans for defining and tracking policy administration system initiatives affecting CM Group underwriting and operations; research, analyze, and assist in developing system
requirements around new products and functionality, including applicable rates and forms, and around downstream integrations with the policy administration systems; work with Policy Administration System Support (PASS) and Product Data Management (PDM) management in the development and implementation of policies and procedures applicable to underwriting and processing of CM Group business; and participate in assigned additional projects.
On any given day, you’ll:
Collaborate with Underwriting, Operations, and IT Vendors on system initiatives affecting product development and policy issuance. Communicate with all departments and system vendors on any modifications or enhancements made to applicable policy administration systems, including review of
requirements and design documents. Assist in researching, analyzing, and developing new products, including applicable rates and forms, to accurately implement them within the applicable policy administration systems. With support from Product Technology Specialists work with Product Management management in the development and implementation of policies and procedures applicable to underwriting and processing of CMIC business. Increase the ease of doing business with CM Group for its brokers, partners, vendors, and staff by developing and maintaining positive working relationships with groups within and outside CM Group.
Here’s What We Expect
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, with a minimum of 1-3 years commercial lines
experience preferred. Prior
experience working with insurance policy administration systems desired. Exposure to ISO’s Commercial Lines Manual and NCCI’s Workers
Compensation Manual preferred; including their purpose, function, and how to interpret them. Skill in communicating verbally and in writing; skill in using electronic project management/ticketing systems to organize and track work preferred. Basic knowledge of the function and role of departments within commercial lines insurance companies. Ability to operate within an agile environment, participate in multiple initiatives, and work with employees at all levels within and outside of the organization.
