Field Service Technician - packaging equipment

My client is the leader in their industry and has been in business since 1963 and is located in a northern suburb of Buffalo, NY. They seek an exceptional candidate to do field service, installation, and customer training activities on PLC controlled packaging equipment.

A successful candidate will have demonstrated exceptional electrical, electronic sensors, mechanical

skills, and conveyor systems. Ideally, it would be

nice to have a certification in electronics, but not required. The position involves fieldwork with a variety of customers within a 500 mile radius of the facility, including a few customers in Canada (only 20-25% travel) A company vehicle is available for these trips. A very strong work ethic is a must.

Technical

skills required:At least 3 years of

experience as a Field Service Technician with some type of electro-mechanical machines/equipment.Strong electrical knowledge and

skills, with an understanding of and ability to wire electrical boxes.Strong knowledge of equipment mechanics with strong mechanical

skills to fix equipment.Very strong diagnosis, trouble-shooting, and technical problem-solving

skills

compensation based on

experience - you would enjoy a

salary in the $65-80K base

salary range plus an extremely generous Bonus Plan. Look forward to a total

compensation package in the six figures, based on your

experience.
