Position: Senior Azure Cloud Security Engineer

Location: Tampa, FL (Open to Remote)

Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and management of security measures for our Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the entire development lifecycle, from design to deployment. Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability management, implementing strategies to mitigate and remediate identified security risks. Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards related to Azure cloud services and health data protection. Monitor and respond to security incidents, conduct investigations, and implement incident response procedures as needed. Design and implement identity and access management (IAM) solutions for secure access control. Stay abreast of the latest Azure cloud security trends, threats, and vulnerabilities, and implement proactive measures to address emerging risks. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the security team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced certifications such as CISSP, Azure Security Engineer, or related certifications are highly desirable. Proven

experience in designing, implementing, and managing security in Azure cloud environments, with a focus on health technology or healthcare industry

experience. In-depth knowledge of Azure security services, including Azure Active Directory, Azure Key Vault, Azure Security Center, and Azure Sentinel. Strong understanding of health data security and compliance

requirements, such as HIPAA and HITRUST.

Experience with security automation and scripting using tools like PowerShell or Azure CLI. Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines. Excellent communication and collaboration

skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership

experience in guiding and mentoring security teams.
