Job Description

Under the direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Machine Operator will operate manufacturing equipment according to established specifications, and standard operating procedures and work instructions.

An operator must demonstrate steady progress in learning all equipment and jobs in the assigned manufacturing area.

He and/or she must also exhibit the ability to follow the instructions of the supervisor while observing the quality of raw and finished goods before, during, and after production.

Responsibilities

Monitor functions of equipment and operate per documented procedures including maintaining operational logbooks

Provide technicians with symptoms of equipment failures, when required

Assist In Preventative Maintenance Pm Following Procedures

Support Material Handling As Necessary

The Machine Operator maintains the segregation of materials and lot and or receiving numbers

Maintain Area In A Clean And Orderly Condition

Adhere to and demonstrate compliance to all company and department standard operating procedures including but not limited to GMP, device history record, hazard communication, and safety rules

Utilize Written Procedures And Training To Accomplish The Tasks Noted Above

Accept Full Accountability For Product Quality

Report to supervisor or management unsolved problems encountered during the workday

Maintain complete and accurate records of work-in-process, component inventories, and relative documentation

Stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Lifting/moving and carrying products weighing up to 50 pounds

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and/or moderate noise levels

Hs Diploma Or Equivalent

Required

Experience

0 to 1 year of previous manufacturing operator

experience.

Note

Shift: 3rd shift Sunday-Thu 11:00 PM -7:30 AM

Worksite: Londonderry (onsite)

This is considered an entry-level role where support and training will be provided to the ideal candidate in order to perform the job

duties successfully.

Prior Manufacturing

experience is not necessary as long as the candidate shows an interest in learning, is enthusiastic, self-driven, carries out their commitments (shows up to the interview), is engaged, and asks appropriate questions during the interview.
