Wequassett Resort and Golf Club is seeking Catering Events Manager for weddings, catered affairs, and corporate functions. Candidate would report directly to the Director of Food & Beverage.Would be responsible for supervising, planning, and executing catered events along with the Banquet Manager and the Restaurant Manager.
General
Responsibilities:-Plan and execute 50-75 catering and corporate events per season-Conduct site visits, planning, and menu tasting sessions with clients. As well as walk-in clients in a gracious manner to ensure a positive impression-Process all event orders, deposits, and final payments through Infogenesis systems-Answer all phone calls, proposals, negotiation, and contracts according to departmental procedures-Perform any other
duties as assigned by the F&B management team-Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A Bachelor's degree and previous
experience in a luxury resort or hotel is preferred
