OVERVIEWThe Cloud Engineer plays a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. Contributes to driving digital transformation initiatives and ensuring the successful migration and operation of workloads in the cloud. Additionally, utilize Salesforce for optimizing business processes.

Responsibilities &

DUTIESEvaluates existing IT infrastructure and develops plans to execute ongoing cloud migration strategies.Oversees the migration process, ensuring seamless transition to the cloud environment.Designs, maintains, and monitors cloud-based systems within Microsoft Azure.Configures hybrid connectivity between on-site systems and the cloud.Monitors performance, provisioning, and configuration of Azure resources.Designs and implements highly available, multi-region solutions within Azure.Develops IaC using tools like Terraform, Azure CLI, Puppet, and Ansible.Implements policy-driven data protection best practices.Manages security and access controls for cloud-based solutions.Works closely with other IT team members to ensure successful cloud adoption.Participates in an on-call rotation to address technical escalations.Works closely with stakeholders to understand business

requirements and designs scalable and efficient Salesforce architectures. This includes defining data models, customizing Salesforce objects, and configuring workflows, processes, and integrations to meet business needs.Performs other

duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.7+ Years

Experience in networking, systems administration, data protection, information security, and CI/CD tooling.

Experience in network architecture and deployment, including setting up and managing firewalls, VPNs, and other network devices.Knowledge of disaster recovery plans, including

experience designing strategies and procedures for backing up and restoring data, applications, and systems.Familiarity with financial industry regulations and security standards. This includes understanding of data privacy law and regulations such GDPR, CCPA, etc.Understanding of network protocols and network architecture. This includes knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, IP routing, etc.Strong problem-solving

skills and ability to work under pressure. This includes ability to troubleshoot complex network and cloud issues.Excellent decision-making and leadership abilities. This includes ability to make strategic decisions regarding cloud and network architecture.

Technical

SKILLSTo be successful in this role, you should have

experience with and an understanding of the following:Microsoft Azure (design, deployment, configuration, and optimization).Familiarity with IaaS and PaaS solutions.Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development using tools like Terraform, Azure CLI, Puppet, and Ansible.Scripting

skills with Perl, Python, and PowerShell.Knowledge of GIT for source code management.

Experience with Terraform Cloud and Azure DevOps.
