Engineering Technician (CO)

Experis is partnering with a manufacturing company in Longmont, CO to hire an Engineering Technician to join their team.

You Will...

Support engineering activities such as rack assembly, server / system OS imaging, cable-management, equipment installation, equip check-out. Work from well-defined processes to support rack assembly & trouble-shooting functions of the SSD Product Group. Perform operational tests using various enterprise servers & dependent components (NIC, DRAM, SSD, CPU) using best methods to report and help w/remedy of failures (Jira, Outlook, Teams) Aids in tasks related to assembly of test racks and supporting service organizations with deliverables in labs (incl. IT ENG, Facilities, Cyber-Security) Uses test, development, network, & core infrastructure equipment including 48U racks, KVM's, Eth & Fiber Network switches, switchable PDU's, scopes & protocol analyzers, static field & resistance meters (esd), hand tools (screwdriver, drill, mallet, snips, wrenches, etc.) Handles palettes & product at scale (500lbs+) with proper material management equipment (pallet jacks, hydraulic & electric server-lifts, metal carts, & hand-trucks) May lift & sort boxes exceeding 50lbs in various dock, staging, office, and lab workspaces, as well as at-height (ladder or stool) Work onsite in Longmont, CO
