System Analyst III

Our client, in the science and chemistry field, is seeking a System Analyst to join their team.

Job Title: System Analyst III

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay Range:$48.90/hr

What’s the Job?

Defines

requirements, analyzes, designs and implements complex computer-based information systems for research or Battelle business/management functions. Identifies functional needs and systems

requirements. Performs complex systems design and analysis based upon user

requirements. Prepares specifications from which software will be written. Designs, codes, upgrades, tests, debugs, implements and documents systems. Provides expertise in the implementation and integration of purchased software as appropriate. Maintains effective vendor relationships. Implements and follows-up on assigned application areas. Consults with, supports and trains users on assigned application system including on-call support as required. Assists with training of less

experienced staff members. Maintains and enhances current professional technical knowledge, contributes to team effort, and secures client confidence to provide quality service. Develop and maintain catalog items and associated workflows to orchestrate configuration management processes; Maintain hygiene of the configuration management database (CMDB) by identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving problems; Review, troubleshoot and resolve Discovery, CMDB, and other ServiceNow incidents with little direction; Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of the application.

What’s Needed?

5 years of

experience; or an equivalent combination of

education and or

experience in a related field. Provide guidance and expertise in the administration and maintenance of ServiceNow Discovery; Build and update business process and technical implementation documentation for ServiceNow Prior

experience with full lifecycle enterprise projects. Exceptional work ethic and communication Fundamental networking and Window or Linux administration knowledge Eligible to receive a Security Clearance
