Job Description
This position is responsible for coordinating the effective execution of all maintenance and operations support activities for a small to medium sized maintenance contract and/or Small Capital projects and/or less complex sites/projects within the Operations & Maintenance Function.
Assist in maintaining client relationships by regular communication to better understand project operations, this communication should; appraise of Fluor activities, advise of potential improvements, assess changing needs, develop teamwork and ask for client feedback on performance Act as the first line of contact to the Client Plant Manager by conducting quarterly interviews and maintaining close client relationships Fulfill contract and Operating System
Requirements (OSR)/Operating System Implementation Plan (OSIP)
requirements by ensuring that the
duties and
responsibilities of the project contract are clearly defined, documented and followed by the Fluor team Monitor risk as assigned by director of operations by reviewing risk on a regular basis and identifying significant business risk for Fluor; responsible for profit and loss of the site Apply appropriate analytical tools and techniques in by assessing client organizations, acquiring client engagements with significant profitability potential and transforming the client organization from the current state to the proposed future state Is responsible for the direction and performance of all construction operations to ensure that work is performed in conformity with project
requirements. Principal areas of responsibility include staffing, schedule, cost, quality control, safety, and labor relations. Manages, monitors, and controls the Fluor CM project organization and its functions. Maintains liaison with the client Resident Engineer to ensure proper and timely involvement and approvals. Implements an effective safety and security program for all Fluor personnel and contractors and assists client in monitoring the overall safety site security program Determines construction staffing
requirements in cooperation with all Fluor department supervisors, and client requests Implements and maintains effective management, planning, and cost control systems consistent with the
requirements for each project Implements and maintains an effective construction safety and security programs Implements, manages, and maintains a labor relations program Represents Fluor and ensures a harmonious relationship with the plant Establishes and maintains communications to ensure the accurate and timely flow of information, primarily on a need-to-know basis with all suppliers and customers In cooperation with the Project Controls Manager, reviews and approves con-ops budgets and staffing
requirements Controls project costs by constant surveillance of field management costs and material costs In cooperation with the Project Services Manager and Construction Manager, identifies and evaluates items constituting an increase or decrease in workload and cost Coordinates, through the Project Services Manager, Fluor’s input into Constructability Reviews during the Engineering and execution phase of the project Prepares monthly benchmark reports to keep client and Fluor Management informed on construction progress and related direct and indirect construction costs and forecasts Apprises the functional department managers of the performance of project team members under their supervision Maintain a cadence with Program Managers, Senior Construction Manager to facilitate any support requests, implementation of on-going training and open communication for site continuous improvement Effects training of team members into roles and
responsibilities of others in the project team Ensure that construction decisions and path of direction do not disrupt labor harmony between the plant and local labor organizations. Immediately notify known issues. Maintain Site Procedure Manual with input from all functional leads Other

Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and six (6) years of work-related
experience or a combination of
education and directly related
experience equal to ten (10) years if non-degreed; some
