Ford is in the middle of a Supply Chain Transformation. One of the key focus areas to enable this transformation is to ensure there is robust management of supply chain risk and assurance of supply to ensure demand for our world-leading products can be met optimally.
You will help drive the ongoing identification and implementation of technology solutions that bring transparency and visibility to the extended, multi-tier supply chain enable Ford to collaborate with supply chain partners in balancing capacity and forecast, and ensure constraints and risks are efficiently mitigated to ensure minimal production disruptions.
Responsibilities
As a Product Group Manager within our Supply Chain Management IT group, your day will consist of the following:
You will help drive production implementation and focus on software delivery to support the needs and expectations of internal stakeholders and suppliers for both today and tomorrow Have an opportunity to learn, shape, and adopt new tools, practices, and processesCollaborate with other Supply Chain workstreams and enterprise ecosystems to achieve integrations across multiple systemsInitial focus areas will be in Supplier Capacity/Performance and Reporting/Analytics
What you’ll be able to do:
Drive
requirements clarity with the Product Owner, vendors, and back-end data sources (internal and external)Coordinate with application architects to validate solution designs with a focus on the reliability and stability of the productCollaborate with external and internal technical peers (Product Managers, Product Designers, Software Engineers, Architects, and vendors) to define, unblock, and split stories Create and prioritize a backlog of stories to help build new features with a required definition of ready and doneValidate completed stories by gathering detailed metrics for feedback where necessaryLead ceremonies that help define the work to be done, improve team process, and align the team to specific objectivesParticipate in governance activities from communications to finances to keep cross-functional leadership informed and escalate as required Innovate on the product manager process and ceremonies to ensure all work within the team produces the most value possibleIdentify risks, and implement mitigation and contingency plans, focused on early mitigation or elimination of RisksTrack upcoming Change requests and
Requirements To Update Test Cases And Validate Specific
requirementsFacilitate adoption of relevant Ford processes, employ/champion Agile software processes, culture, best practices, and techniquesPartner with Product Owners and develop and as required execute test scenarios at various levels (functional, user acceptance) within the Agile FrameworkParticipate in triage and debugging sessions for tool integration issuesGrow subject matter expertise, provide guidance to other members of the team, and detail our capabilities to help educate partners
Qualifications
The Minimum
requirements we seek:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer engineering, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field5+ years of
experience in program management and/or project management on medium to large-scale projects3+ years of Technical Product Management
experience that consists of managing and launching efforts3+ years of Software Delivery
experience using Agile and Lean methodologies including defining and prioritizing product features and working with backlog management tools 3+ years of
experience managing user
requirements and user stories, calculating stories, tracking the delivery process, and managing software projects using Rally Jira, or similar Agile Tools

Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Computer engineering, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related fieldDevelop and maintain strong knowledge of the business functional areas for the Supply Chain Business acumen – STA, MP&L, Manufacturing, Service, Order to Delivery and Product DevelopmentDemonstrated ability to deliver on project commitments through leadership, rigorous execution, teamwork, strategic planning/scheduling, problem analysis, resolution, and productivity improvements Ability to forecast target dates for features using historical dataProven
experience in use of Rally, participation in Governance, Finance (PDO and PO)Third-party cloud platforms/tools implementation
experience
Experience working with Partners, Global teams, agile mindset, and complex integrationsAbility to interact extensively with and influence senior business leaders, technology partners, and vendors.Ability to develop strong working relationships across multiple leadership levels amongst peer organizations, product teams, and business partnersExcellent verbal and written communication
skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in varying areas of business and enterprise technologyStrong interpersonal
skills, demonstrating professionalism in all actions.
