Description

TouchNet, a Global Payments Company, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to assist in the implementation and administration of software deployments for a highly secure, highly available environment.. This will include close collaboration with software engineers and IT administrators for microservice deployments to the cloud as well as to legacy infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between development and operations by assisting in the administration, maintenance, and documentation of deployment pipelines, as well as monitoring and logging processes.

Responsibilities

Support automation routines for infrastructure provisioning and software deployments Support existing custom software solutions that enable development and operations to manage software and environments Administer, maintain, and document CI/CD processes to allow operations teams to deploy solutions into upper environments Automate additional routine tasks where possible Collaborate with development teams and leadership on a daily basis to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues in upper environments environments and processes Recommend process improvements to increase operational efficiency Exemplify a culture of innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving

Minimum

Qualifications

2 years of devops / automation

experience Conceptual understanding of devops topics like CI/CD and infrastructure as code

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, including container orchestration offerings, infrastructure automation tools, and logging/monitoring tools Proficiency with one or more programming languages Proficiency with one or more scripting languages Fluency with basic networking concepts Comfortable in Windows and Linux environments Ability to diagnose and resolve computer system and operational issues A passion for automation and efficiency A desire to teach and to learn Self-motivated and independent. Able to drive projects to completion with minimal supervision Strong verbal and written communication

skills, with ability to relay complex topics to both technical and non-technical team members BS/BA degree completed or in the works (Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Business/CIS or related) or relevant

experience in lieu of a degree may be considered

Experience Securing And Managing Pci-compliant Environments

Experience With Ansible

Experience With Terraform

Experience With Python

Experience With Agile Methodologies Like Scrum Or Kanban

Experience with application development is a plus Familiarity with Java application servers like Tomcat or Wildfly

Experience With Docker And Container Orchestration

Experience With Subversion

Experience with Git and GitOps, build tools like Jenkins or TeamCity, collaboration tools like Jira, Rally, Confluence, and Crucible
