What You Will Be Doing

Helion is hiring a Senior Project Manager to oversee the permitting, planning, and execution of our commercial construction projects. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with multiple teams across Legal, Communications, Engineering, and other teams. You will be directly responsible for the successful delivery of the world’s first commercial fusion power plant. You will report directly to the Chief of Staff at our Everett, WA site.

You Will

Execute on project planning, permitting, site design, and construction activities involved in the establishment off Helion commercial generators,Maintain communication between Helion, local partners, regulators, and customers on project status and scheduleEngage with contractors and Helion employees to plan, quote, and implement large-scale and parallel construction scopes of workBe the subject matter expert in Helion’s construction processesCollaborate across Helion teams, including Engineering, Production, Test, Materials Management, Quality, Safety and Supply Chain to ensure smooth transition between construction, delivery, assembly, and turn-on of commercial projectsProblem solve and strategize throughout the duration of Helion’s commercial projects to ensure a safe, fast, and effective construction process

Required

Skills

8+ years of commercial construction or similar trade

experienceManage General Contractors and SubcontractorsEngagement with government and other permitting authoritiesDirectly manage and implement on medium or large-scale construction projects

The pay range for this position is $140-190K. This pay range may be inclusive of several career levels and will be narrowed based on several factors, including the candidate’s

experience and

qualifications.
