Role Overview & Specifications

IEA, Inc. is seeking a Marketing Intern for Summer 2024 in Austin. The Marketing Intern will be mentored by a marketing team member and work within a larger team to complete projects within set deadlines. This position will also support the Administrative and Engineering departments, as needed.

The ideal candidate is professional and have great organizational and interpersonal communication

skills, with prior office

experience a plus. Computer

skills would include Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat/PDF, and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Set SMART goals at the beginning of the summer with a mentor and track progress on goals throughout the summerPresent

skills learned to IEA employees using Microsoft PowerPoint at the end of the summerPrepare graphics and text for IEA’s social media campaigns using software like Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Zoho SocialSupport Marketing Leads throughout the proposal process, including completion of forms, preparing emails to teaming partners using Microsoft Outlook, and graphics creation in Adobe Creative SuiteAssist with updating corporate brochures and collateral, and updating tracking matrixes for this information in Microsoft Excel and UnanetAssist with updating IEA’s company website using WordPress softwareAssist in planning and implementing company activities and eventsElectronic organization of marketing data using the IEA folder structure and Microsoft SharePointReview and suggest/or make edits to documents in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Creative SuiteOther office or marketing support, as needed
