Senior Accountant

IFG's client is looking for a highly detailed Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a newly created position that will collaborate closely with the CFO and can engage in various aspects of the business. This role offers exposure to different sectors of the business and is ideal for candidates comfortable with a diverse workload with no expectation of rapid promotion.

Compensation is a range of $85,000 to $95,000.

This position is also on-site 5 days a week in the Northern suburbs of Chicago.

Responsibilities:Perform accounting

duties for all entities within the portfolioProficient in handling large datasets, data manipulation, and manual processesProcess payroll using QuickBooksContribute to ad hoc projects across different business areas

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance3+ of accounting

experienceProficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooksAttention to detail and accuracy in financial recordsExcellent communication and interpersonal

skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectivelyCPA or equivalent certification (preferred)
