What You’ll Do
Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core valuesValues and understands the importance of
diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associatesClient serviceMaintains regular, professional contact to create and foster relationships with client representativesResearches and resolves issues and requests in a timely manner – including issues that require direct interactionsAnswers questions related to
benefits programConducts reviews and works to provide guidance on compliance related mattersClient meetingsAssists in and prepares materials and collateral for meetings and discussionsActively participates in discussionsRecords and reports meeting discussion s and action items Carrier and vendor managementAssists new vendor/carrier implementationsReviews carrier, vendor, and plan documents and contractsMaintains regular contact with carrier and vendor representatives to ensure client advocacy and that issues are being resolved in a timely mannerCommunication and
educationWorks with client to develop short and long-term employee communication objectivesCreates member facing collateral pieces to promote and clarify benefit program featuresAssists with in person, virtual, and telephonic sessions to provide information and plan details to participantsUses regular interactions to update clients on carrier and vendor partner features and servicesInternal partnershipsActively participates and contributes to client service team operationsEffectively communicates client updates to appropriate team membersAssists with other team

You Should Have
Attains and maintains state life and health license in accordance with IMA standardsBachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent job
experience2 or more years of relevant
experienceIntermediate MS office
skills (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)Ability to learn and work in agency/client management systems and other related software and technology platformsAbility to work independentlyIntermediate interpersonal communication
skills – written and oral – with the ability to articulate ideas and information in a clear and concise mannerDemonstrates critical thinking and problem solvingAbility to present information in a group setting (in person and virtually)Intermediate organizational
skills including the ability to manage multiple projects with variable deadlinesPossesses high degree of diplomacy and tact while maintaining confidentially
