Ingersoll Rand’s intern program provides current college students with challenging assignments, leadership training, and valuable exposure to our company's senior leaders and opportunities to network. Our 3-month Manufacturing Quality Engineer internship opportunity offers candidates working toward their bachelors or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related degree exposure to a variety of assignments which could include: Manufacturing Process Automation and systems integration, Process Risk assessments for Quality, and Energy Audits.

Job
responsibilities include, but are not limited to:?
Complete assignment of a specific project during the 3-month internship
experience
Handle all details of assigned projects from inception to completion within mutually agreed-upon timeframes
Analyze Schematics And Develop Hardware Architecture Specifications
Handle Process For Reworks & Reclaims On Products
Assist Senior engineers with development, testing, and analysis of components and processes
Maintain orderly project records. Analyze, condense, and present data results and recommendations
Support line issues and collaborate with manufacturing engineers in driving to solutions
Develop And Improve Manufacturing Engineering Standards And Quality Controls
Assist in the product development of new or enhanced product design or simulation programs to help ensure the quality of IR products, systems, solutions, and services
Answer, or find answers to, quality and/or technical questions when requested by peers or internal and external customers?
Successful Candidate’s Profile

Establish courses of action for self and others to ensure work is completed efficiently, such as, prioritizing tasks based on importance?
Must be currently enrolled in a BS/BA in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with a cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0 throughout the duration of the internship?
Demonstrated Leadership
skills such as: campus organizations, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects?
