Title: Software Engineer

Target Pay Range: $85-93/hr

Experience:- 5 plus years'

experience in a statically-typed language: Golang(Important)-

Experience with retrieving data from REST APIs in different formats such as JSON, XML, CSV.(Important; team current has 20 unique data integrations internally)-

Experience with ingesting and processing data of varying types - structured/relational and unstructured(Important)-

Experience collaborating with source control software such as Git or similar and platforms such as GitHub, GitLab or similar.- Strong

experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL or similar and strong fluency with SQL(IMPORTANT)- Strong ability to communicate clearly in diagrams, writing and verbally.- Must have prior

experience working with Financial data/teams(IMPORTANT)-

Experience With Aws- Ba/bs Degree Or Equivalent

experience working in a Feature or Streaming Production environment Job Description:As part of the Program Management & Enabling Technologies team, you will be responsible for compiling, processing and analyzing data from varying sources with the objective of creating Executive reports via Microsoft's Power BI. These will drive business-critical decisions by stakeholders in areas such as Finance, Content Production and Operations among others. Current Stack:- Programming Languages: Go- Database: PostgreSQL- Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker- Frontend: Power BI

Responsibilities:- Build and maintain API and file-based integrations with data from a growing list of sources.- Write well-structured, reliable, efficient and easily maintainable code and database schemas.- Work independently and collaboratively with other software engineers on cross-team projects- Lead and contribute to peer code reviews, internal infrastructure and process enhancements.- Create end-to-end workflow diagrams and documentation for collaboration with other team members and stakeholders This team manages 400+ internal end users from 20+(growing) data sources(all types of data including studio/vfx financials, production based apps, internal studio bus apps, etc.). Team is 10 PPL, including the manager. We have 5 people currently on the team, including Data SWE, PowerBI, Data Product Manager, PM, QA Engineer.
