Senior Auto Claims Examiner | Remote

Our client has been experiencing continued growth and seeking to add a Senior Auto Liability/Bodily Injury Claims Examiners for their Maryland office. This person would be responsible for handling moderate to complex Auto Liability and Bodily Injury claims for losses throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Responsibilities of this position include investigating claims through telephone, written correspondence, and/or personal contact with claimants, attorneys, insureds, witnesses and others having pertinent information.

Process Assigned Claims And Determine

benefits due pursuant to the client contract.Analyzing policy terms to ensure that the coverage sought applies to the loss eventinvestigating loss facts to determine liability and to rule out fraudAssessing appropriate damages and negotiating settlementsEnsure claim files are properly documented and claims coding is correct.Provide comprehensive, complete thorough analysis of coverage determination.Prepare detailed reports, review and prepare responsive correspondence to achieve settlement.

Requirements:4 to 10+ years of Personal and/or Commercial Auto Liability claims

experience.Must be well-versed in MD Law.

Experience handling Bodily Injury claims is preferred.Strong verbal and written communication

skills, including the capability to write routine reports and correspondence, speak effectively before groups of customers or employees and handle litigations and negotiations.

Salary/

Benefits:$70,000 to $85,000+ annual base
