experience. The Client Intake Specialist is responsible for handling the intake process for their local office by organizing and tracking new client data and processing new matter memos.
Essential functions of this role include but are not limited to: conducting conflict checks on new client for Attorney’s in local office, receiving and organizing case documents and correspondence required for new matter process; assisting secretaries with docketing
duties; preparing closed file memos. If a new client is a litigation matter, creating litigation hold letter for attorney approval, processing new matter memos for local office and entering into Aderant software application, verifying correct rates for client by review of matter description and practice areas. If new client, reviewing of documentation as to new rates to be entered and enter new rates into system, reviewing and confirming client billing addresses, contact information and adjuster contact information, if applicable, and assigning new client matter number and upload new matter memo and respective documents to iManage.
