Job Description

Payroll Supervisor

Coordinate and supervise the accuracy of all payroll transactions in a Centralized Payroll environment for multiple legal entities. Responsible for directing payroll staff.

Performance Expectations

Oversee employee performance and provide guidance and support. This includes regular one on one reviews as required by the company. Identify ongoing employee development needs. Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions. Manage team schedules. Approval of payrolls to ensure employees are paid accurately. Manage ADP’s Security Management including employee password resets. Backup for payroll wire funding when the Payroll Manager is absent. Ensure compliance to policies, procedures, and legislation. Collaborate with Human Resources, Accounting, and IT.

Credentials

Successful Completion Of Secondary School

Diploma in finance or payroll certification.

Desired Characteristics

2-3 years’

experience in a previous finance leadership role is considered an asset.

People Management & Leadership

skills

Demonstrated Organizational

skills and strong leadership qualities.

Adp Wfn Payroll System

experience is an asset.

Outstanding Communication

skills (written and oral)

Detail oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities.

Team player willing to help and multi-task.

Ability to work in a fast-paced paperless, computerized environment with excellent Excel and Word

skills.
