Traffic Clerk at Guard Shack

We are seeking a diligent, attentive, and energetic individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and controlling access to our site, as well as ensuring the smooth flow of inbound and outbound truck traffic.

Key Deliverables

Accurate Traffic Management: Log all incoming and outgoing traffic precisely in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Effective Security Screening: Thoroughly screen team members and visitors entering the property by, verifying their identity and authorization.Truck Driver Check-In/Out: Record essential details required such as driver's license, vehicle, seal numbers, and temperature set points.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing traffic to ensure compliance.

Communication: Coordinate with drivers, visitors, and internal staff to ensure smooth operations.

Emergency Response: Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents.

Policy Adherence: Follow company policies and safety regulations.

Customer Service: Provide professional assistance to all parties.

Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements.

Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements

Previous

experience in a security, guard shack, customer service role preferred.Computer savvy with proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or similar software.Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record information.Excellent communication and interpersonal

skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work outside in all seasons.Physically walking in and out of the guard shack to check in/out vehiclesFlexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends if required.High school diploma or equivalent.
