Serve as the senior database resource to the implementation, development and customer support teams. Provide administration and support on all database-related issues. Monitor and optimize database and query performance using advanced database tools and techniques like Event Monitor, and NMON. Assist with backup and recovery processes and procedures and use Unix and different shell environments. Utilize advanced RDBMS concepts, terms, technologies, methods and good practices and advanced database programming.

Minimum

Requirements

Four-year bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical field3 years of

experience providing database administration using DB2 or ORACLE including

experience performing database installation, configuration, database upgrades, patching, troubleshooting and maintaining databases3 years of

experience monitoring and optimizing database and query performance3 years of

experience programming with Unix or Linux operating systems3 years of

experience in database programming using queries, triggers, and stored procedures3 years of

experience writing DB scripts
