Job Description

Our Company is currently seeking exceptional chemists to join our Boston site’s highly collaborative Discovery Chemistry Department. The successful candidates will contribute to multidisciplinary discovery teams by applying innovative synthetic chemistry, analytical techniques, and data analysis to the design and synthesis of drug candidates and intermediates. Successful candidates must have excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication

skills in a team environment. It is expected that the successful candidates will learn quickly through on-the-job training to become increasingly skilled and independent in reaction setup, route design and optimization. In addition, there is an opportunity to expand your knowledge and

skills through collaborations with talented and dedicated colleagues while advancing your career.

Specific

Responsibilities Will Include The Following

Design and execution of synthetic routes to target molecules using modern synthetic chemistry techniques.Selection and application of appropriate purification techniques including flash chromatography, high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and recrystallization.Acquisition and interpretation of analytical data, such as NMR and LC/MS.Gaining proficiency in applying data and in silico tools to target molecule design.

Education Minimum

Requirements

B.S. or equivalent degree in chemistry, biochemistry or related field is required.

Experience

Experience with organic chemistry synthesis and/or multi-step synthesis of complex molecules, natural products, drugs, intermediates, and/or drug like compounds.Hands-on

experience working in an academic or industry lab
