Summary: As an Outside Sales Rep, you will manage existing customers as well as develop new business within the a given market and surrounding territory. Our Outside Sales reps drive business development and serve as a representative of the company, ultimately acting as a point of contact for our clients ensuring they receive premium products with a high degree of customer satisfaction in a manner that is profitable for the company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, the ability to develop business in an industry with high demand and limited competition, and that "extra something" that separates the most successful people from the rest. If you have
experience with strategic planning, market analysis, reaching sales goals, and have the ability to not only get your foot in the door, but to create and build lasting customer relationships, we will teach you the rest!
Responsibilities:Drive business development, build and maintain close relationships with clients, and ensure customer satisfaction in the assigned territoryProvide excellent customer service and prompt responses to all customer inquiriesDevelop the
skills and product/service offerings knowledge necessary to become an expert in our businessSpeak effectively with existing customers and educate prospective customers on the various products and services we offerResearch, obtain, organize, analyze and report sales and marketing data for the territoryDevelop business plans for meeting revenue objectivesAttend industry functions, promote our company image and recognition within the assigned territoryPrepare and submit quotations, reports, sales reports and other pertinent documentation as needed
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent
experience
Experience in construction equipment rental, sales manufacturing or managing construction projects is preferredDewatering, water transfer, bypass and trenching
experience is idealKnowledge of budgeting, cost estimating and bidding proceduresKnowledge of contract documents and specifications a plusCommunication
skills and a professional demeanorAbility to work a flexible schedule to meet job
requirementsAbility to travel
