Title: Lead Embedded Software Engineer - Medical Devices (C++/Qt)

Location: Bedford, MA (3 days per week onsite)

Key

Responsibilities:Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of embedded software solutions for blood diagnostics medical devices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, software developers, and quality assurance professionals to define

requirements and drive project execution.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure code quality and reliability.Develop and maintain software documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.Stay current with industry trends and best practices in embedded software development, medical device regulations, and quality standards.Contribute to the development of software development processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.8+ years of

experience in embedded software development with proficiency in C++ programming language.

Experience developing software for large-scale embedded systems or architecting systems from scratch.Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, design patterns, and object-oriented programming principles.

Experience with Qt framework for application layer development is a plus.Prior

experience in the medical device industry or other regulated environments is highly desirable.Excellent communication and interpersonal

skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.Proven leadership

skills with the ability to mentor and motivate junior engineers.
