Essential Tasks And
Responsibilities
Oversees, updates and monitoring of Medical Staff Development Plan for Gainesville area, Greater Braselton and select regional markets.Responsible for establishing recruitment targets by geographic area and specialty consistent with the NGHS Strategic Plan and the Physician Strategy Committee. Tracks department's progress toward established goals and is accountable through annual goal setting.Facilitates matching best "recruiter" to targeted provider search, managing oversight throughout the recruitment/onboarding process. Manages Department, prepares budget and monitor monthly activity; identify corrective measures as needed.Give yearly presentations on job search related topics.Provide resources and foster professional development and growth with departmental staff.Works in collaboration with the Director of Physician
Compensation to ensure contractual compliance and the reduction of risk factors to the organization. Manages the recruitment process to ensure quality candidates, effective interview processes, and retention of candidates. Perform other related
duties incidental to the work described herein.Identifies new opportunities for strategic benefit of organization and takes leadership role in recommending criteria for expansion.Effectively demonstrates ability to coordinate
primary
responsibilities with other System functions, i.e., regional market outreach, planning, marketing, professional services, MSO, facility development, other.Develop strategies for business opportunities with providers to align incentives and promote a working relationship with NGHS medical staff and new physicians to area/system.Assists project teams/committees to ensure communication and resources are optimized within NGHS organization to implementation.Management of Medical Staff Development Plan and implementation of physician recruitment process. Serves a project leader for development of regional expansion of outpatient services throughout service area based on NGHS strategic priorities. Assures activities are coordinated in seamless fashion among supporting functions within Health System.
