Basic Job Functions

Nucor Steel Kingman is seeking qualified applicants for the position of EAF Lead.

Responsibilities will include developing Nucor culture where Safety is a value that is continually demonstrated. Other

responsibilities will include selecting, teaching, and training a team in all aspects of steel production while working closely with peers within the leadership team to develop consistent guidelines for the Nucor Kingman team. In addition, this person will be required to travel with the team to Nucor divisions for training in operations, evaluating teammates for operational positions, and defining specific training curriculum for each position. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Prior Melt Shop

experience Team member training and development

experience Willingness to work a flexible schedule, unscheduled overtime, rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

experience. Knowledge of operational systems and maintenance best practices
