We Are Currently Seeking A Firmwide Coordinator Of

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion who will work under the supervision and direction of the Senior Manager of

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. This position can be based in the Century Cityoffice.

In collaboration with Firm leadership, the DE&I team (including our DE&I Partner), Talent Development, and other teams, this position will be responsible for supporting strategic initiatives and programs that enhance O’Melveny’s culture of belonging and support its goal to RISE to the challenge of making the promise of DE&I real in every aspect of our firm.

The

salary range in CA for this role is $70,000 - $85,000 and represents the firm’s good faith.

Responsibilities

Provides administrative and logistical support to the DE&I team. Coordinates relevant DE&I meetings, events, and programs (e.g., employee network leader calls, speaker series, firm sponsorships, etc.). Acquires, compiles, and organizes data for industry surveys and requests from clients, including RFPs. Provides administrative support for DE&I budget tracking and invoice processing. Identifies DE&I goals and uses metrics to measure the effectiveness of initiatives and programs. Maintains the DE&I intranet pages, distribution lists and events calendar, ensuring content is current and effective. Creates reference repositories and best practice/process documents. Stays informed of DE&I practices and emerging trends and commits to engaging in the study of their craft. Performs additional

duties as assigned. Job

Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of relevant

experience. Prior law firm

experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel. Highly organized with strong ability to perform work with a high-level of attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent oral and written communication

skills, including proofing and editing. Highly organized, extremely responsive, and attentive to detail. Proactive, solutions-oriented attitude towards work. Desire to be involved, learn, build relationships, and contribute ideas. Demonstrated

experience navigating complex situations that require creative thinking and problem solving. Curiosity, growth mindset, and willingness to learn about DE&I best practices, trends, and other developments impacting the work. Capable of working efficiently and pivoting when priorities change. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (e.g., manipulating data in Excel, using Outlook for scheduling, and managing workflow, etc.). Impeccable professional judgment and discretion with confidential information. Willingness to travel 1-2 times per year and the ability to work overtime and monitor email outside of standard

working hours as needs require.
