Responsibilities: The Power BI resource will generally provide the following services at the direction.• Collaborate with business SMEs and understand business

requirements on business intelligence and design optimal solutions. Develop Power BI Reports.• Design effective and efficient data warehouse (DW) schema in Oracle. Methodically develop extract-transform-load (ETL) processes utilizing Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) tools by connecting to different data sources to populate the DW per the

requirements.• Design, develop, and build mockups, reports, and dashboards using business intelligence and data visualization tools, such as Microsoft Power BI.• Develop the building of Analysis Services reporting models.• Developing visually appealing reports, key performance indicators / key risk indicator (KPI/ KRI) scorecards, and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI desktop.• Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence. Thinking analytically for the translation of data into informative reports and visuals.• Implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Microsoft Power BI.• Making DAX queries in Power BI desktop using SQL.• Using advanced-level calculations on the data set.• Developing supporting documentation.• Developing tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards; and• Conduct code reviews by the team processes and standards.• Providing very good communication

skills will allow for discussions around the

requirements gathering and communicating with the project team. Required Power BI developer

skills:• Proficiency in Power BI development, including report and dashboard creation (7+ years).• Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts (7+ years)•

Experience with SQL for data manipulation and extraction.• Knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for creating calculations. Creating complex DAX calculations and measures to support data analysis.• Familiarity with data warehouse concepts. Troubleshooting and resolving issues in Power BI reports.• Strong technical writing

skills.• Strong Excel

skills, including visual basic, Power Query, pivot tables, pivot charts, and advanced formulas.
