Junior Software Engineer

Peraton is searching for a talented Junior .Net Software Developer to become part of Peraton’s Citizens Security & Public Services, State and Local Regional team supporting a contract with the State of West Virginia. This position will be located on a client site in Charleston, WV.

Day To Day Work

Responsibilities: The Jr. .Net Software Developer will be responsible for the following, but not limited to: The Developer will need to write complex queries in MS SQL, support web-based application systems, be able to solve problems and have the ability to use MS Office Tools.Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and client

requirements for software with scrum and agile methodology.Develop intuitive software that meets and exceeds the needs of the client and company.Professionally maintain all software and create updates regularly to address customer concerns.Analyze and test programs and products before formal launch.Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace.Aid and support the coaching and training of other team members.

Basic

Qualifications: Bachelors Degree and 0 years

experience OR high school diploma/equivalent and 4 years

experienceUS CitizenshipMust have

experience in software engineering to include using .Net, C++, PowerShell, MS SQL ServerMust have

experience troubleshooting complex systems.

Experience working with web services, APIs,

Experience working with distributed, large scale, highly available systemsPossess the professional and technical

skills necessary to perform .Net software development as part of an application development team.
