Job Title: Cloud Networking Engineer

Location : Mountain View, CA / Remote (PST Time Zone)

Position

Overview:We are seeking a skilled Cloud Networking Engineer proficient in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking concepts with expertise in managing Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), configuring Firewalls, establishing Interconnects, and defining Subnets within the GCP environment.

Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) networks to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.Configure and maintain firewall rules and security policies to protect cloud resources and prevent unauthorized access.Establish and manage Interconnects between on-premises infrastructure and Google Cloud Platform, ensuring seamless connectivity and low latency.Define and manage Subnets within VPC networks to efficiently allocate IP addresses and organize resources.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand networking

requirements and develop solutions that align with business goals.Troubleshoot network issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to ensure high availability and reliability.Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and GCP networking services to continuously optimize cloud infrastructure.

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Proven

experience in designing, implementing, and managing networking solutions on Google Cloud Platform.In-depth knowledge of VPC, Firewall rules, Interconnect, and Subnet configuration in GCP.Hands-on

experience with network protocols, routing, and switching technologies.Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Strong analytical and problem-solving

skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.Excellent communication

skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.Google Cloud Platform certification(s) (e.g., Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Network Engineer) is a plus.
