The Application Support Specialist manages IT projects as assigned by the IT Manager. This person will be the technical liaison between all business units and the IT department and will work to resolve and coordinate software installations, upgrades, and new software initiatives.
Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the

Software applications supported include: Microsoft Office 365, SolidWorks, CRM(s), DocuWare, Epicor, IISResearch applications errors and implement solutions.Work with external support providers to resolve complex issues.Assist end-users with remote accessibility issues.Provide software support for hand-held devices i.e. “barcode scanners.”Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical end users.Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.Communicate with manager and client on job or deadline issues.Perform other
duties as assigned.

Required
QualificationsBachelor’s degree (Computer & Management Information Systems or Computer Science) or equivalent work
experience.Minimum two years’
experience in a corporate helpdesk environment.
Preferred
QualificationsMS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Outlook certifications desired, but not required.ERP
Experience preferred, not limited to: Epicor, SAGE, OracleWeb development languages desired but not limited to: HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, PHP, SQL Queries, JavaScript This is a full-time position, on-site at the manufacturing facility. A hybrid work format will be an option after thorough understanding of the role. The hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. An occasional shift in hours may be necessary to accommodate business needs.
Work Environment/Physical Demands/TravelThis job operates in a professional business office or home office where standard office equipment is routinely used, such as computers, photocopy machines, fax machines, telephones and filing cabinets.
This position is largely a sedentary role. Must be able to lift 30 pounds at times. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
