Protegrity is seeking a passionate and talented (Sr. Security Engineer) to join our (Legal/Information Security Dept.). This position is a remote role.

As an Sr. Security Engineer you will report to the Director of Information Security and be a key part of Protegrity’s dedication to Information Security. This person will partner with teams across the company to continually review and optimize our security posture while maintaining a focus on the ongoing reliability and stability of our business environment.
Responsibilities
Protecting digital files and information systems against unauthorized access, modification or destructionMaintaining data and monitor security access across various cloud SaaS platformsAbility to follow and refine incident response procedures for various types of incidentsConducting security auditsConducting vulnerability scans and penetration tests on corporate networks and applicationsReviewing security events and logs to determine their root causeRecommending and installing appropriate tools and countermeasuresPerforming vendor risk analysisDeveloping, deploying, and supporting security solutions globally to include regional offices, and cloud environments, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure.Supporting security application development initiatives requiring innovation, automation, and integration.Supporting security incidents, service delivery, technology configuration and lifecycle, and technical security investigations and forensic collection.Identify possible process improvements that address functional and technology gaps within a single business process of moderate complexity.Prepare moderate to complex technology enabled recommendations to address gaps within a single business process. Ability to deliver valuable and professional security services to the organization
Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of Post-
Education work in Information Security/IT/Network Engineering.Must have application testing
experienceMust have at least some hands on Penetration Testing
ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Information Security or Business preferred.Knowledge of Advance Threat Protection techniquesFamiliarity with Cloud providers (Azure, AWS, and Google)
Experience with Vulnerability management Must be able to work independently and/or in a team environmentKnowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO 27001 and NISTSolid time management and organizational
skills to efficiently complete assigned tasksExcellent communication
skills to ensure successful resolution to issuesStrong written communication

Working Model
This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend on-site meetings only occasionally based on business needs. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
$115,000 - $125,000 a year
For residents of CA, WA, NY, and CO, the pay range for this position is $115,000-$125,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum base
salary for this position plus any variable earnings, if applicable to the position. The individual
compensation may be dependent on a variety of factors, such as geographic
location, level, job-related knowledge,
skills, and
experience, and performance.
Should you accept this position, you must consent to and pass a Background Investigation, which includes (subject to country law), extended
education, and additional criminal and civil checks.
