Summary And

Qualifications

This position supports the mission of HealthONE facilities of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. Under the direction of the Supervisor of Ultrasound, the individual performs a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients of all ages under the supervision of a registered sonographer. Positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, physicians and other hospital personnel. Individual assists patients and physicians as directed. Prepares, processes, and documents information.

When need arises, will perform other

duties as assigned by supervisor.

What

qualifications you will need:

Must provide registered certification from ARDMS within 2 months of graduation of an American Medical Association (AMA) or Higher Learning Commission (HLC) approved Ultrasound School training program or an armed services program that qualifies for approval. Maintains annual competency for cleaning and high-level disinfection of ultrasound probes. . Current BLS required from AHA or ARCCurrently enrolled in AMA or HLC approved school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Must be in senior year in School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateHigh School Graduate / GED
