The Director of Operations will be responsible to coordinate daily operations and manage the operations management team of the live production US offices. This role will manage the performance indicators and support the development of their team members.
Your Day Will Look Like This
Manage, support and coach the senior operations management team with their daily management of the equipment and employees. Oversee and participate in recruiting, new hire onboarding, training, and integration. Act as contact person for the employees regarding the interpretation and application of working conditions, policies, programs and company’s internal processes. Participate in the annual preparation of Workshop operations budget, labor needs, and performance objectives/reviews of the Live Productions operations team. Document, develop, and implement processes and procedures related to operations. Works closely with senior management and employees to improve work relationships and build morale. Work closely with HR department to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Coordinate with Finance and HR on the budget for employee headcount, full time and temporary. Managing the building on a day-to-day basis including managing the access, security cameras, and systems, maintenance, and repairs, etc. Coordinate with the Sr. Director of Fleet & Facilities as needed in regard to the facilities, company vehicles, in the event of a building emergency, etc. Oversee the optimal management for the inventory, the storage as well as the use and rental of the equipment fleet, while maintaining an operation cost, which meets the company’s standards and objectives. Coordinate with department directors and senior operations managers to continually improve and uphold the current standards and understand the expectations of the delivery of the equipment. Identify and eliminate the potential risks related to health, safety, and security, and insuring safety costs are provided for in the workshop operations and non-tech capex budgets. Work with Health and Safety Manager to ensure the health and safety on site through training, prevention, and compliance. Other

Your Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Operations’ managementMinimum of 7 years’
experience in operations managementMinimum of 3 years’
experience leading, mentoring and managing a teamProficiency with Office365 (Word, Excel, Outlook);Knowledge of the rental industry within the showbusiness, events and corporate fields a plusAbility to travel overnight frequently. Flexible
work schedule, night and weekend availability required. Ability to manage, mentor, and lead a team. Strong communication
skills. Strong interpersonal
skills. Ability to communicate information in a logical and clear way. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Good ability to self-start and prioritize within tight deadlines.
