Overview

The Vice President of National Accounts - Nation Retail Sales (NRS) is responsible for the overall direction of sales strategy to increase business opportunities and generate revenue from key internal stakeholders and supplier partners. This role will be the primary point of contact for the SGWS NRS National Accounts team and drive the National Accounts performance, goals, and business relationships.

Responsibilities

Develop National Accounts NRS strategy with internal and external partners, drive Key Performance Indicators (KPI), targets and goals, and overall growthManage and develop relationships with key decision makers; establish and maintain high-level, executive contact with SGWS and Supplier Partner National Accounts teams, focusing on the establishment and maintenance of strategic relationshipsRecruit, select, orient, and train employees; coach, counsel and manage employeesCommunicate National Accounts priorities to all relevant commercial teams, including regions, supplier management team, and commercial operations teamDevelop, deploy, and track the execution of national programs across regionsDrive execution of and Supplier Partner programming through the SGWS National Accounts and teams and monitor complianceAct as primary point of contact for SGWS National Accounts and Supplier Partners to manage issue resolution; resolve issues such as inventory concerns, price discrepancies, work with relevant Corporate, Regional, and State functions to resolve issuesCreate, and present sales analysis presentations to sell products and services to SGWS National Accounts, Supplier National Accounts teamsPerform other job-related

Minimum

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree plus ten years of

experience; or an equivalent combination of

education and

experienceTen years of supplier management

experience in the wine & spirits industryDemonstrated

experience direct sales and national account management with key customers and suppliersFive years of demonstrated management

experienceDemonstrated knowledge of regulations in major statesUnderstanding of market dynamics and chain dynamics for wine & spiritsDemonstrated knowledge of MS Office Suite and software applications related to job functionsAbility to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of people at all levels in the organizationExcellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem management, presentation development, presentation, and communications
