Summary And

Qualifications

As the Electrician Lead, you will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of hospital equipment and building components specifically to do with electrical systems. You will be responsible for ensuring electrical distribution for emergency and normal power, testing circuits, running conduits, installing fixtures, and lining isolation monitor testing. You will diagnose problems, offer solutions, and ac to ensure the safety, care, and comfort of staff and patients. You will set an example in professionalism and workmanship.

You will perform a variety of skilled maintenance, alteration and repairs to machinery, equipment or facilities as assigned and in accordance with basic

skills and abilities, and standard procedures, diagrams, or manufacturer’s instructions as requiredYou will perform preventive maintenance on hospital equipmentYou will execute miscellaneous work orders and answer trouble calls as requiredWhen assigned to an evening, night, or weekend shift, you will assume responsibility for the proper operation of the facilityYou will be responsible for documentation necessary to maintain records for the facility according to department policyYou will maintain hospital and plant equipmentYou will assist purchasing agent in ordering parts and supplies needed for maintenance

Minimum five years’

experience in a maintenance or construction fieldFive years’ relevant

experience in a large commercial industrial or health care facilityHospital

Education

High School

education or equivalentDegree from trade or technical school – preferredAssociate’s Degree in HV/AC, Electrical, Plant Operations or Maintenance field preferred

Licenses And Certifications

Possession of a Journeyman or Master Electrician License issued in Texas – preferred

The facility is home to a 60+ bed rehabilitation hospital providing both inpatient and outpatient comprehensive care.
