Description

At Mercy Medical Center the Endo Unit provides quality care primarily assisting the endoscopist during procedures and specialized patient care before, during and after the procedure. What You Will Do

In this critical role you will assist in creating and managing nursing care plans and will participate in the evaluation of current and future medical needs of the patient.

Minimum

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. BSN graduate preferred.

Licensure: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Massachusetts.

Certification: BLS (AHA/ARC). ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Preferred

Skills

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN degree preferred.

Experience: Previous Endo

experience preferred. Requires the ability to practice utilizing SGNA (Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates) recommended standards and practice.
