Electrical/Mechanical Repair Specialist - 3rd Shift

The Electrical/Mechanical Repair Specialist will be responsible for planning and performing general electrical and mechanical work associated with the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of manufacturing machinery.

responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description – other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.Utilize PLC software for purposes of troubleshooting manufacturing machineryIdentify and recommend energy-saving initiativesIdentify and recommend safety and process improvementsWorking safely following all applicable safety regulationsEnsure all work is completed in a neat and workmanlike mannerWorking closely with production, engineering, and other maintenance personnel to complete tasks and projectsUtilize maintenance management system to monitor electrical and mechanical service requests and document all workWork on ladders and lifts as requiredUse of various testing instruments to identify machinery issues

Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalentIndustrial

experience maintaining/repairing machinery3+ years working in an industrial environmentElectrical/Electronic Technician Certification or equivalent training/

experienceIndustrial

experience maintaining/repairing machineryGeneral electrical knowledge through work

experience or schoolingGeneral mechanical knowledge through work

experience or schoolingAbility to interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic technical diagrams and documentsBasic welding and machinist capabilitiesProficiency with common hand and power toolsAbility to utilize electrical multi-meter and ammeterGood electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
