Role: Java Engineer

Location: Remote (if converted they will need to move to Bentonville, AR) Long term contract – look to convert later down the line.

Day To Day

Responsibilities/typical day look like: Programming and participating in Agile Sprints (stories) in a SCRUM environment. Breakout of work: 40% JAVA Programming (application development focused in Java Development Kit) 40% NoSQL database work (not building table structures but understanding how it sits in the database, how new fields may impact the DB, etc.) Azure Cosmos DB preferred but not required. 20% Kafka message streaming work No front-end work expected/done in this team/project.
