General
Summary
In this role you will have the responsibility to advance multiple cross-functional strategic initiatives within the Pharmaceutical Sciences organization. By partnering closely with Senior leaders both within and outside of department, you will propose strategic direction, gain endorsement, and execute upon aligned goals and objectives. The Associate Director is also responsible for comprehensive communication, including status reporting and alignment with departmental Leadership.

Lead and manage high-priority initiatives that span multiple functions by defining goals, key milestones and reporting processWorks closely with department leadership to continue to maximize process efficiency and align department goals and strategyProactively identify areas of potential improvement, proposed solutions, and lead initiatives to execute on those solutionsIndependently lead cross-functional teams to advance strategic initiativesDevelop agendas and manage cross-functional meetings to ensure decisions and action items are fully addressedLead interactions with key partner lines to advance the goals of the functionReport progress to leadership and other stakeholders on high-priority initiativesContribute to development of high-impact communications and presentationsContributes to the best practices of Project Management & Strategic Operations to support the continued success and evolution of the department

Skills
In Depth Understanding Of Pharmaceutical Sciences Functional Areas
Experience in cross-functional execution including medium to large-scale projectsCritical thought partner and proven ability to connect people and ideas to drive outcomesAbility to manage multiple priorities/projects at a given time, ensuring deadlines, budgets and status updatesDeveloped communication
skills and the ability to synthesize data and information into meaningful insightsAbility to effectively set agendas and facilitate team meetings to the desired outcome in a timely mannerAbility to effectively communicate progress, build consensus and alignmentExcellent written and oral communication
skillsPro-active self-starter; results-oriented and ability to work independentlyStrong interpersonal, collaboration and demonstrated leadership
skills. Ability to quickly establish credibility, rapport, and trust at all levels in order to influence across teams.
Education And
Experience
Bachelor Degree in scientific, engineering or related discipline. Minimum of 8 years relevant biotech/pharmaceutical development, operational, and/or project management work
experience or other relevant
experience.
In this Hybrid-Eligible role, you can choose to be designated as:
Hybrid: work remotely up to two days per week; or select On-Site: work five days per week on-site with ad hoc flexibility.
