The Opportunity

A Reliability Technician is an essential position within any organization and directly affects the utilization of labor, Equipment reliability, Craft utilization, Safety advancements, Facility training, Standard work documentation, Process development and gains in overall Mill throughput, and efficiencies.

Reliability Technician serves needs of entire facility by assisting the Reliability Superintendent in removing barriers, implementing equipment improvements or replacement, creating processes, finding/utilizing innovative technology, and shifting paradigms to advance the mills position beyond the capabilities of its competition and advance it to World Class performance standards.

experience in Maintenance and applied

skills. Assist and be a part of a variety of activities associated with the Mills reliability program.

What You Need To Succeed

Improve upon Safety of the facility, Safety policies and compliance improvements whenever possible Assist with and execute elements of the Reliability Maintenance Program (Ultrasonic, Thermography and Vibration Analysis) Assist in the development of the Mills 5S program Participate in the investigate of subcomponent failures, and conduct root cause analysis (RCA) Make recommendations to management in an effort to increase MTBF Accurately create or assist with written standard work for technical staff Accurately create or assist with written standard work for production and support staff Assist in the development and execution of the mills lubrication plan Assist with the Implementation of Fluid Power Reliability System Contribute in the creation of Safe work plans/pre job safety analysis for all new processes Work with all Maintenance Department personnel to assure task completion regarding Reliability tasking Create proprietary systems within the company to provide capabilities not found in the industry Assist with the 5S and visual Factory objectives
