Position: Forklift Technician

Location: Hutchins, TX 75141Pay: $25.00- $30.00 (DOE)

Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (hours are negotiable at time of hire/flex time available)

Position

Overview: They will maintain, repair, and overhaul all types of powered industrial forklifts (gas, electric, or propane).

Position Description: Inspect and test equipment at time intervals, usage, breakdown, or malfunction.-Disassemble, inspect, and replace worn or broken parts.-Test drive repaired equipment before turning it over to operators.-Change batteries and clean battery connectors.-Order repair parts from the store department or designated outside suppliers.

Requirements:Must know about minor forklift equipment repair and maintenance.Knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety protocols.Must be able to lift and pull up to 50 lbs.Operate a two-way radio and telephone.
