Configuration Engineer

Qualified candidates would have the following:Required:This position requires the ability to obtain a Customer/NASA background check for which US Citizenship is required.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.Familiarity with common configuration tools (like Windchill/APDM and SharePoint).The applicant must have

experience with configuration management.The successful applicant must have strong communication

skills, be able to work successfully with a diverse group of engineers, and are capable of working in a high-paced/multi-tasking environment while supporting multiple activities concurrently.The applicant must be capable of working with minimal supervision.

Desired

Experience in System Engineering.

Experience with avionics hardware and software.Advanced

skills in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint

Experience:Degree and typical

experience in configuration/engineering: Bachelor's and 3 or more years'

experience or a Master's degree with

experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics.

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. A secret clearance is not required; however, candidate must be able to pass a background check. This is a full-time 40-hour week Monday through Friday position located in Huntsville, AL. Some travel may be required.
